GS-10 Artist Patch Series

Joining MEGADETH in 1990, he gained high reputation as the lead guitarist in the band. After leaving MEGADETH, working on his own music, in 2003 he released a solo album “MUSIC FOR SPEEDING”. By incorporating digital sounds and ethnic melodies, he is expressing unique approaches. *Distribution of the sound previews are strictly prohibited.

He joined DOKKEN in 1981. With his unique playing style, he became the foundation of DOKKEN’s signature sound. Currently he is working with the LYNCH MOB, and in 2003 they released “RE volution”. His riffs with swift fluidity, and solos with a unique time feel is rocking everybody’s mind. *Distribution of the sound previews are strictly prohibited.

In 1984, he released his first solo album “RISING FORCE”, which established a new musical genre “neo-classical rock”. He continues to pursue his music with a new album “ATTACK!!” in 2002. These custom Patches for the BOSS GS-10 were based on seven Classic Jimi Hendrix songs recorded between 1966 and 1968 at Olympic and De Lane Lea Studios. The only exception is Voodoo Child (Slight Return) which was recorded at the New York Record Plant in 1968. Patch Previews were performed by Paul Hanson. *Distribution of the sound previews are strictly prohibited.

1.	Click the DOWNLOAD Button on the bottom, and follow the direction of the proceeding messages to download the file on to your computer’s hard disk. The download file is Zip compressed, therefore unzip (extract) the file.
2.	Connect the GS-10 and your computer via USB cable.
3.	Turn on the power of the GS-10.
4.	Start GS-10 Editor in order for your computer and GS-10 to communicate.
5.	Start GS-10 Librarian. From the File menu, open the downloaded Librarian file.
6.	Click the Patch that you would like to import. MARTY FRIEDMAN GS-10 PATCH -> 1 – 6 Patches GEORGE LYNCH GS-10 PATCH -> 1- 11 Patches YNGWIE MALMSTEEN GS-10 PATCH -> 1 – 4 Patches JIMI HENDRIX GS-10 PATCH -> 1 – 7 Patches Patches are assigned to the numbers above.
7.	While holding “Ctrl” on your keyboard, press “C”. For Mac, press "command" and "C".
8.	Go back to the Main window (the Librarian window that shows the Patches inside the GS-10), and select the Patch number that you wish the Patch to be imported.
9.	While holding “Ctrl” on your keyboard, press “V”. For Mac, press "command" and "V".
10.	On the Main window, click the Patch that you wish to import.
11.	Click “Selected” in the same “Write” frame. If you click “ALL”, all of the Patches will be imported.
*	Patch data will over-write user Patch data. If there are Patch data that you have created, please save it into the Librarian.
